Media Training And Coaching Services

Whether you’re being interviewed for a TV news program, podcast, or an industry panel event, preparation with a professional is key to appearing competent, engaging and memorable. Time and time again, I have watched bright, experienced leaders “wing it” and live to regret it.  Just one bad interview can live on forever; online and though social media sharing. Even if you’re comfortable giving traditional presentations, being interviewed by the media  – especially on-video – is an entirely different ballgame.

With the guidance of a TV news broadcasting veteran and national spokesperson, you’ll learn the secrets of traditional and new media and how to:

Craft memorable messages or “soundbites” that cut through the noise

Distill complex concepts so that your audience can understand them

Organically promote yourself and your company

Sound conversational, confident and trustworthy

Anticipate and handle tough questions

Read scripts with the ease of a professional news anchor

Dress and gesture in a way that enhances your message, instead of detracting from it

After training, you’ll apply your new skills in a live interview with a professional journalist: Video camera, bright lights, hard-hitting questions and all. We’ll review your interview footage together, and address any missteps before your next big media opportunity. You’ll walk away feeling calmer, more in control, and excited to amplify your voice during your next interview.

Trainings are available for both individuals and groups, and range from half day, to two full day sessions.

Kristy conducts trainings both in-person and virtually. Contact her for details at kristy@kristysiefkin.com.
